Do you give a Royal Sh*t?

So once again Royalty takes over our TV screens, computer screens and front pages.

Prince William is now engaged to Kate Middleton after proposing with his mother, Princess Diana’s, engagement ring. Controversial?

I have to admit the exclusive half an hour interview on ITV with the couple was insightful and interesting to hear their story, but Williams years of interview training and experience really showed up a speechless Kate Middleton who struggled for words, often repeating herself. 

So she’s got quite a daunting future ahead of her,

But what is it with these types of events hoarding the slots on the Freeview guide?

I mean…..who actually cares about the Royal Family?

I’m struggling to try and explain what the Queen actually does apart from act as an Ambassador… and, well, some names come to me after that but only for controversial reasons (Princess Margaret, Duchess of York etc). To be honest I’m more excited about the future of the little Nazi-devil Harry!

There are already adverts on the television for ‘The Royal Engagement’ and my reading of the daily newspaper for the next few weeks is going to be somewhat…boring.  

Can you imagine meeting the Grandmother?
